Consul General Zhao stated that the economic zone serves as an important platform for China-Philippines cooperation in Mindanao. There is enormous potential for bilateral collaboration in infrastructure development, processing, manufacturing and other sectors. She expressed the hope that the Davao Metropolitan Economic Zone will give full play to its advantages, strengthen communication and coordination with relevant Philippine authorities, enhance its policy and service functions for foreign investors, including those from China, foster a favorable business environment across Mindanao and boost the confidence of Chinese investors.
