On March 13, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen attended the "Pasidungog: Garbo sa Dabaw 2026" recognition ceremony organized by the Davao City Government，and accepted the Friendship and Cooperation Plaque awarded to the Consulate General by the City Government.

During the event, Consul General Zhao engaged in friendly exchanges with Davao City Acting Mayor Rodrigo S.Duterte II, City Councilors Rachel P. Zozobrado and Myrna Dalodo Ortiz, OIC of Davao City Investment Promotion Center April Marie Dayap, and other Philippine government officials.
