On December 2, representatives from the Chinese Consulate General in Davao attended the First Bamboo Congress of South Davao. Consul Jin Jun delivered remarks on behalf of Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen, stating that China will uphold the development philosophy that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" and strive to advance cooperation with the Mindanao region in the bamboo industry.
