On November 14, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen attended a fellowship luncheon celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA). She interacted with event organizers including MinDA Undersecretary Janet Lopez, Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib, Zamboanga City Mayor Khymer Olaso, other Philippine government officials, and representatives of the diplomatic corps in the Philippines.

The event was part of a series of multilateral activities, including the 33rd Senior Officials' Meeting and the 28th Ministerial Meeting of the BIMP-EAGA. Participants included representatives from the BIMP-EAGA member country secretariats of the Philippines, Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia, as well as related councils, provincial and municipal governments, and the diplomatic corps in the Philippines.
