On August 11, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen held a meeting with Undersecretary Cheryl Marie Natividad-Caballero of the Philippine Department of Agriculture (DA), and DA Region XI Executive Director Macario D.Gonzaga upon invitation.

During the meeting, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on expanding cooperation in cultivation of high-value-added agricultural products and agricultural import-export trade.

Undersecretary Caballero expressed the Philippines' commitment to further strengthening agricultural collaboration between China and the Philippines.
