On October 31, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen attended the awarding ceremony of a multimedia competition themed Real China Through My Eyes held by the Chinese Consulate General in Davao. Teachers and students from multiple schools of the cities of Davao, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro and Digos, etc participated.

Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen congratulated the participants for their good performance in the contest, and shared that the purpose of this competition is to encourage the youth in Mindanao to learn more about the Chinese language and culture, while promoting the mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese and the Filipino peoples.

The competition was held in a combination of online and offline methods. The participating teachers and students submitted in advance videos or graphic works in diversified forms including dance, speech, singing, calligraphy and painting.
