On October 25, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen paid a courtesy visit to Ms. Maria Agnes M. Cervantes, the new Assistant Secretary for Philippines Department of Foreign Affairs-Mindanao.

Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen congratulated Ms. Cervantes on her appointment, briefed her about the cultural and economic cooperation between China and Mindanao, and thanked DFA-Mindanao for its continuous support for the work of the Consulate General. Ms. Cervantes expressed her willingness to communicate and cooperate with the Consulate General to promote pragmatic cooperation between the Philippines and China.
