On October 11, Consul General Zhao Xiuzhen invited Assistant Professor Gemas and more than 30 International Studies students of the Ateneo de Davao University to the Consulate General.

Consul General Zhao interacted cordially with the guests, introduced various aspects of her work, and emphasized that Mindanao has a long history of friendly exchanges with China. She expressed her hope that the students will actively promote friendship and cooperation between Mindanao and China after they graduate.

Assistant Professor Gemas expressed his appreciation for the chance to interact with Consul General, and said many of these students wish to work in the diplomatic field in the future. He hopes that the younger generation of the Philippines and China could pass on the time-honored friendship.
